RE: Best Movies with Spiritual Messages
A movie which had a big impact on me spiritually speaking is "The Passion of the Christ". I saw it when I had just started practicing yoga and had just discovered God in my life and this film awoke in me such a powerful state of spiritual aspiration and helped me to understand the power of sacrifice.

Here is the first part:

"Ink" is an amazing movie as well as a movie-business phenomenon.
An independent production, with the majority of the work done by a couple Kiowa and Jamin Winans, who handled direction, story, screenplay, editing, music, sound and costume design. Upon completion of the movie, no company agreed to handle its distribution and it ended up being published straight to DVD. Tide turned completely, when it was ripped by internet-freedom activists and made available for download on pirate sites - it got tens of thousands of downloads already in first few weeks, with the creators themselves somehow embracing the phenomenon.

The movie shows how angels and demons are fighting for person's soul -first ones wanting to save the other ones wanting to destroy it.
Many things can be said about this movie, but rest assured - it's Magical! Smile

RE: Best Movies with Spiritual Messages
Being away for couple of days, I am now glad to be back with another contribution to this thread Smile

"Silent Flute" (also known as "Circle of Iron") is a movie written by Bruce Lee, at height of his international fame. Originally it was him who was supposed to play one of the main roles, but his untimely death didn't allow it to happen. Some even say that secrets that Lee wanted to reveal through that movie (the original script was even richer in content) were the reason for his alleged assassination...
The movie was filmed, with David Carradine taking Lee's part.
It looks like a B-Class Kung-Fu movie, it holds however many profound spiritual lessons for aspirants on the path of transformation - amongst them necessity to observe one's mind, to put spiritual laws above laws of men and even the importance of sexual energy and secret of sexual continence!

I am glad that You like it! Smile
This scene is also one of my very favorites and I find myself playing it over and over again many times for inspiration Smile
A similar thing was shown in another production of Jamin Winans - a short called "Spin". Both are based on the same brilliant concept and in my experience watching one does not diminish the value of the other Smile

RE: Best Movies with Spiritual Messages
Today, I would like to offer You a bit different movie suggestion Smile
An unique movie shedding some light upon the amazing world of Tantra Yoga - the movie "Bliss". Even though it starred known Hollywood actors, such as Terence Stamp ("Yes Men"), Craig Sheffer ("A River Runs Through It") and Sheryl Lee ("Twin Peaks"), this movie, made in 1997, the only one ever written and directed by Lance Young, is virtually unknown. It tells a story of a young couple, who suffer marriage problems which and are introduced - each in their own way - into therapeutic qualities of Tantric Lovemaking, revealed to them by a Tantric Initiate, Balthazar. Apart from Argentinian "No Mires Par Abajo", this movie is the only one (until now, and to my knowledge) bringing any credible information about mysterious and amazing world of Tantra Yoga.
Looking for it on YouTube I found out there is not even a trailer, nor a scene from this movie there. The only thing I managed to find is the lovely musical score from the movie. If You look however hard enough in other places then YouTube- You will find it Wink

Further research showed there is no article about it on English Wikipedia and that the description it is given at the Internet's biggest and most recognized movie database - http://www.imdb.com turned out (to my greatest surprise) to be a bunch of lies (!), which most likely make one reading it, skip the plans of watching that movie. So, of You look there before watching this movie, know this - it's not a story about a sex-therapist seducing his patients.
Spalding Gray indeed plays in that movie - but only a supporting role, and not a sex-therapist. Women patients don't line-up to see him, and there is nothing about seduction in the entire feature. Anyone cares to explain such flamboyant lies to discredit this movie?

TOUCH - Episodes
A great movie, which shows that everything and everyone in this existence is connected with each other.

A autistic kid, who has some clairvoyant abilities to look into the past, present and future, to link people and locations together in order to bring order into the universe with the support of his father.

What dreams may come (with Robin Williams)

Chris dies and finds himself in a heaven, more amazing than he could have ever dreamed of. Annie is unable to cope with the loss of her husband. She decides to commit suicide and goes to hell. Chris decides to risk eternity for the small chance that he will be able to bring her back to heaven.

Many scenes in this movie about after-life are presented in the Eastern and Hindu belief system.

just truth. not sure what the message of this clip is or what we could do to change.

waking-up has to happen much faster, otherwise it will be too late for our planet and for humanity!

One of the movies which i really like and contains spiritual messages is The Peaceful Warrior. Is a movie based in a true story and the guy who had the real experience, Dan Millman also wrote books which inspire lots of people.

Here is the link to watch the movie:
