Hello Dear Members,
I am new forum member here wants to learn some yoga steps for better body fitness.
Greetings!

Lots of time has passed since you asked that question - perhaps though it is still valid. That's thing with the yogis, I guess - we're much more busy with practice than with sitting in front of a computer Smile

Clearly, it would be the best if you could find a yoga school somewhere near to the place you live. Being able to learn under proper live guidance, together with other people is a great motivator and guarantor of success.

If you're going for just making your physical body more flexible, then I guess there's plenty of fitness centres around which offer some kind of yoga that would help you for that.

You might consider however looking into getting more of yoga's benefits than just some body flexibility. The genuine yoga practice works on multiple levels - apart from physical health, improving psycho-mental qualities, bringing deep understanding of oneself and of the world around. It is the superior way of life - a genuine art of living fully every moment of your life - and you don't need to have a yoga mat, a special pants or drink smoothies all day long Tongue

For that however you do need a proper instructor, and those are not easy to come by.

There is a network of schools, operating for over 25 years in many countries around the world, which offer that level of teaching and practice. From my experience, what they offer is incomparable with anything else I've seen. The holistic approach and depth beyond any of the self-proclaimed 'yoga experts' after a few weeks' training in India present.
And I don't mean to upset here anyone <3 It's just in case you're looking for the real thing.

Here you can find the list of those schools - http://www.atmanyogafederation.org/members/ - check if they have one in your country.

They also have an online academy, in case if they don't have a partner school close to you - http://onlineyogaacademy.com/
